Allison Hahn of Strawberry Point, IA, Recognized at Upper Iowa University 2014 Honors and Awards Banquet

Upper Iowa University recently held its 29th annual Scholarships and Awards Recognition Banquet and awarded 122 scholarships to students across the University. Of those, 98 scholarships were bestowed on UIU students attending classes in Fayette and another 24 were awarded to students who take courses through other UIU locations. Recipients were selected by the UIU Honors and Awards Committee and the University academic divisions.

Allison Hahn was awarded the Charles Morgan Scholarship. This scholarship was established by Mr. Warren W. Morgan, alumnus and area businessman through a bequest in his will. The scholarship is awarded annually to students majoring in business with a preference for students residing in Fayette County or northeast Iowa. The recipient must be a junior who has completed at least half of the required program of studies. The scholarship is renewable for the student’s senior year if the criteria are still met..
