Kaitlyn Emanuel of Byron, MN, Recognized at Upper Iowa University 2015 Honors and Awards Banquet

Upper Iowa University recently held its 30th annual Scholarships and Awards Recognition Banquet and awarded 129 scholarships to students across the University. Recipients were selected by the UIU Honors and Awards Committee and the University academic divisions.

Kaitlyn Emanuel was awarded the The John William Dickman Prize (1939-40). The John William Dickman Prize, founded by Mrs. Adella Maltbie Dickman in memory of her husband and former president of the University, is awarded annually to the seniors who have made the best four-year records. The choice is made by vote of the faculty on the Rhodes scholarship basis, which includes scholarship, character, leadership and general accomplishments.
