Paige Davis of Rock Falls, IL, Recognized at Upper Iowa University 2015 Honors and Awards Banquet

2015 May 26

Upper Iowa University recently held its 30th annual Scholarships and Awards Recognition Banquet and awarded 129 scholarships to students across the University. Recipients were selected by the UIU Honors and Awards Committee and the University academic divisions.

Paige Davis was awarded the Andres Business Scholarship. Established through a lead gift by Betty R. Andres, class of 1946, and matching funds from business alumni, this scholarship honors the late William A. Andres, class of 1948, and the Andres family’s contributions to Upper Iowa University. William A. Andres was CEO of the Dayton/Hudson Corporation, now the Target Corporation. This scholarship is awarded to a sophomore business student for use in the junior year. The scholarship is renewable for the student’s senior year if the criteria are still met.
