Upper Iowa University Celebrates Giving Days

Fayette, IA (03/14/2025) — Upper Iowa University will celebrate its 9th annual Giving Days on Tuesday, March 25, and Wednesday, March 26, 2025. This exciting event provides alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends of the University the opportunity to positively impact future UIU students' lives. Adding to the excitement, National Peacock Day also falls on March 25, making it the perfect time to show our UIU pride!

In addition to donating a gift, event organizers suggest there are several ways people will be able to show their support for UIU during Giving Days 2025:

  • Follow the UIU Alumni & Friends Facebook page and UIU on social media to receive regular updates on the progress of individual challenges
  • Share favorite UIU photos via social media
  • Make a gift to support your favorite UIU designation

Over the years, this incredible event has raised more than $875,000 to support students and address emerging needs at UIU. This year, you can make a difference by supporting:

  • UIU Excellence Fund (formerly UIU Fund)
  • Academic Excellence Fund
  • Peacock Athletics Fund
  • ExcEL Scholars
  • Adult Learners Excellence Fund
  • UIU Scholarship Fund

You may direct your gift to ANY UIU designation that's meaningful to you or even split your support across multiple areas. Whether an individual donates $5 or $5,000 through Giving Days, the collective power of the Peacock family significantly makes an impact. UIU Giving Days is just one more example of how donors have made a difference for UIU.
