54 students take honors in Northeast Iowa High School Art Show at Upper Iowa University

More than 50 high school students from the area were honored recently during the 28th annual Northeast Iowa High School Art Show at Upper Iowa University. During the art show, 54 students from 12 schools won awards for their artwork in a juried exhibition at the Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery in the Edgar Fine Arts Center on the UIU campus. Nearly 150 students competed in the art show, which was judged by Karl Unnasch, an artist from Minnesota. The students were from, Clayton Ridge High School, Decorah High School, Independence Community High School MFL Mar Mac High School, New Hampton High School, , North Fayette High School, Oelwein High School, Postville High School, South Winneshiek High School, Starmont High School, Sumner-Fredericksburg High School,, and Waukon High School.
