Upper Iowa University Announces Tuition Assistance Grant for Louisiana Workforce Commission Participants

Fayette, IA (01/23/2025) — Upper Iowa University (UIU) is proud to support individuals pursuing career advancement through the Louisiana Workforce Commission. As part of this commitment, UIU is offering a $125 per course tuition assistance grant to eligible participants, making higher education more accessible and affordable.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be actively receiving assistance through the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
  • To qualify, participants must enroll in classes beginning on or before July 7, 2025 (UIU Session 6).

This grant can only be used with eligible programs UIU Programs Eligible for the Tuition Assistance Grant for the Louisiana Workforce Commission Choose from a variety of associate and bachelor's degrees delivered online or in-person at one of our five Louisiana locations: Alexandria, Baton Rouge, DeRidder, Fort Johnson, and New Orleans. Eligible degrees include: Associate Degrees; Criminal Justice and Psychology. Bachelor's Degrees include Accounting, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Health Services Administration, Human Resources Management, Human Services, Psychology, and Public Administration.
